    Do bhí fear síos ins an tráigh oíche ag bailiú trioscair.
    I lár na h-oíche do lean sprid é. D'fhiafraigh sé de cá raibh sé ina chónaí agus dúirt sé leis. Ansan d'imigh an sprid agus nuair a bhí an fear ag dul abhaile do bhí an sprid istigh i lár an mhaca roimhe.
    Do lean sé isteach sa chistin é agus ní bfhuigeadh sé aon rud a dhéanamh leis. Cúpla lá ina dhiaidh sin fuair an fear bás.
