    Sore Throat
    Salt is a cure for a sore throat. You should roast the salt in the pan till it is brown and very hot. Then it is put in a stocking and put around the throat.
    Cattle Cures.
    Robens of Tomnaboley, Boolavogue, Ferns, Co. Wexford have a bullock which had a worm in its tail when it was a calf. The cut the tail from the top to the bottom and put turpentine into the tail. They then tied a cloth around the tail. Then the calf lost its tail and now it is in the house fattening.
