    Local Cures
    A man by the name of Mr Doran, Kilcotty, Enniscorthy makes a plaster for cancer.
    When this plaster is placed on the cancer for a certain length of time and then taken off, the cancer comes off with it.
    Warts
    Warts are cured at a well called Mauneen's Well (it is on the lands of Mr Wm Wilson, Mount George, The Harrow, Ferns). The warts are washed in this well on three different occasions and then the warts go away.
    Worms
    Mrs Kealy, Milltown, Ferns, Co Wexford cures worms (in children). She gets a herb and if the herb fraughts the child has worms. She holds her hands over the child's head while she rubs the herb.
    Scalds
    Soda and buttermilk makes a cure for scalds.
    Ringworm.
