I live in North Kerry in the parish of Duagh in the barony of Iractioconnor and in the townland of Rea.
There are fifteen houses in this townland and in all close on 200 people. All the houses are thatched except four and those are slated. They are all one story high houses with two or three rooms and a kitchen.
There is one old woman living in Rea her name is Ellen O Connell and she is nearly nienthy years old but she do not know Irish so well she has plenty local history tho.
The land in the top of Rea is boggy but it is not bad land still it is better than the land
