- The study of the elements is very old and very interesting. Those who study the weather closely are called astronomers. The thoughtful man who is interested in his surroundings the sky os like an open book to him.
For instance a clear cloudless high sky is a sign of good weather to him. when the sun goes down red in the evening that is a sign of good weather also. When the sun is shining brightly and when there is a halo around it that is another good sign. When the stars are glittering brightly they fortell fine weather. When the birds fly very far from home it is a sign that fine weather is approaching. The animals go grazing far from home when fine weather is approaching.- Collector
