    Rheumatism
    For this a plaster of nettles was much used.
    Chest-Colds
    The herbs Marsh Mallow and Hoarhound were boiled and the juices made into a syrup and a specific quantity taken for chest colds.
    For Boils
    An herb called Mach útha nabha was roasted and applied to the affected part.
