    she told the gossoon to wait outside.
    When he was a while waiting he heard lovely music; when the mother came out she called him to come on home but she got no answer. She called him again and this time he spoke and says he, "listen, do you hear the lovely music. When his mother looked down didn't she see that he was standing on the fairy path that was going to a fort. If she hadn't come out at that time the fairies would have him taken with them to the fort.
