One night many years ago a priest was called to go to a sick person. He had to go across fields to the house so he did not bring his horse.
Somewhere near the house two hounds attacked the priest. They jumped at him like as if they wanted to reach his throat. He could see the light at the house but he could not get any nearer to it. At last they stopped but when he got to the house the person was dead. The people knew then it was the devil in the shape of hounds.
