  1. 69 Another Father Quillan Story
Father Quillan went to settle a ghost that was in a house near Kilgolagh. The people of the house were tormented and they went for Father Quillan and asked him to come. All the people around about knew that Father Quillan was gone to the place so they were watching for him to come back to know how he got on. When the priest came he told them that he settled the spirit in a clump of sally bushes in the bog "but' says he, "the red one done for me for she spat in my face before she left". Poor Father Brian lived only a short time after.
