    "There's a house in Springtown and there could be a book made about it". I disremember a lot of the stories but there's one I mind of.
    Mick Mac Hugh who lived in this house with his father and mother was coming off his ceilide late one night. He was coming across a field, and I don't know if there was a fort in it, but it must have been some way remarkable for he seen two women in it. Mick was an aisy going lad and, though he wondered at seeing the lassies out so late, over with him and caught one of them, but if he did he couldn't let her out. At last he shouted out some prayer I suppose and she let him go.
    That was very well but didn't she
