Of course the lad must have thought that queer, but he was a biddable lad and he never said another word but off he went. Sure enough he was a regular laughin stock for everyone till who comes up to him drawin in towards evening but a fine young lassie, and she put the same question as the rest. She passed no remarks but off she went and it wasn't long till she came back with a shears. She took the skin from him and clipped off the wool and paid him for it She handed him back the skin then and, says she, now you have the skin and the price of it(continues on next page)
