    He went into a public-house at Inniscarra, left a box of coins in the cart payment for the butter he had sold While he was enjoying a drink the box of coins were stolen from him He followed the thief into Cork, saw him enter a public-house and place the box of coins on the counter. Sean approached calmly, took possession of his own property and nobody dared to molest him.
    In this district when people praise a man for his strength they say he is "as strong as Seán mór Ó Luasa".
    Seán is now gone to rest and his remains are buried in the old Churchyard, Ballyvourney.
