- It is said that a pot of gold is hidden near the Cabhail Mhor and bees minding it. If a person got a plough and two white horses, and ploughed the place at the Consecration of the Mass, he would find the gold.A man heard of the pot of gold being hidden. He got a plough and two white horses and ploughed the place a few minutes before the Consecration of the mass. When he was coming near the gold he saw a cock standing on a stone which prevented him ploughing anymore.
