  2. There was a hedge school in our village long ago. There was a school in Errick and Jamestown also. They were called hedge-school. Tibarney school was held in a barn. Mr Mikie Dervin owned the barn but it now owned by Mr L. Mulry.
    John Connolly taught in Tibarney and Mike Rogerson taught in Jamestown.
