  1. I live in the townland of Tibarney. It is in the parish of Tisara, and the Barony of Athlone. There are seven houses in my townland three slated ones and four thatched houses.
    There are seven families in my townland, and forty-eight people. There are three people over seventy years. They do not know any Irish. They can tell stories in English.
    The three old people are: Mrs. Mulry, Mrs. Naughton and John Kilcline. They have the same address.
    The address is:-
    Tibarney,
    Athleague,
    Roscommon.
    there is an opening into a bog and a house built on the beginning of the opening and that they say is how Tibarney got its name.
    Houses were more plentiful long ago. There are no ruins of the houses now. the people that lived there died. The village is not mentioned in any
