  1. There was a church in Taughboy, and a Convent in Tisrara in the penal times. The ruins are still to be seen. Where the churches were long ago, there are graveyards now.
    I never heard anything connected with my district of the penal times. I do not know of anyplace where priests hid. I never heard of a priest to say mass in a house.
