- (continued from previous page)THE SNAREIt is made from six pieces of snare wire, each a foot long, and two pegs and a piece of rope. First of all they went to the shop and they bought snare wire. You would get two pegs a foot long and six inches of rope. You would twist the six wires three or four times. You would (-) a hole at the end of the wires. You would stick the other end of the wire of in the hole. Then it would slip. You would tie the rope to the end of the wire. You would tie the peg to the end of the rope. You would go out in a field and find a track where a rabbit would be running. You would stick the peg int he ground at the edge of the run. You would leave the wire on the run. You would get another peg and rest the wire on it. You would leave it three inches from the ground. Then it would be set.
