Tis about twenty five feet in length and sixteen feet in width. It has a slate roof. At the back of the forge there is a little "linnny" (small house) built. The bellows is erected there. In the inside of the forge on the back wall there is a stone stand built there about three feet high by seven, by four. The chimney is built right off the back wall. There are two flews in the chimney. There is a fire place at each side of this stone stand as that in case of necessity two smiths could work at the same time. Right at the back of those two flews there is a pipe leading(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
