  1. About five years ago there was a young boy bathing in the point of the Island. He jumped into the hole and was swimming for a while. There were one or two boys with him. He got a fit in the water and he got drowned. The boys that were with him were too small to save him. The two boys ran home and told his parents. The father came to the place and found him in the bottom of the hole.
    A few months ago there was a man bathing in Dees Hole. He was not able to swim but all the same he went in and
