    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There are three forges in the Parish. There is one at Bolton's Cross and one at the Six Crosses and another beside a stream near the town. All the rest are in the town. There is only one fire place in the forge. The bellows are worked by hand.
    The smith shoes wheels in the open air. He makes the fire beside a stream. Some forges are roofed with slates and others are roofed with tin. Some smiths make harrows but they all mend ploughs and pikes. The forges were the place for tell stories long ago.
