  1. Long ago people only ate three meals a day. For breakfast they had bread made of Indian meal and wet with boiled water with no soda and skimmed milk. For dinner they had potatoes and skimmed milk and for supper they had stirabout made with yellow meal boiled in water. This was also eaten with skimmed milk.
    In the morning they worked for about an hour before breakfast. About nine o'clock they had breakfast. About two o'clock they had dinner, and from seven to eight they had supper. The table was always put in the
