  1. In my district people make rush crosses and hang them over the window. There are also timber ones made.
    On St Patrick's day people wear shamrock on their coats. The old men wear ot on the band of their hats.
    On st John's night people light fires on the side of the road and on streets also.
    On Shrove Tuesday people get married. The custom is to put a rope across the road to stop them up on the road to get money from them.
