To marry during Lent or to marry on a Friday is not right. On the morning of the wedding confitir and rice are thrown after the girl and boy as a sign of luck.
"Straw-boys" or sappers visit the houses on the wedding day. They have masks on their faces so that they would not be known.
Long ago people that were attending the wedding used race each other home on horses, but that was about forty years ago.
