In this county people consider Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays unlucky days to get married. Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays were the days country people married on and on those days they had a mid-day ceremony. The people invited to the wedding always accompanied the bride and bridegroom to the church. They were driven in carriages and side-cars, while some rode on horse-back.
