( 75 years ) - It is said that a tub of gold is hidden in the Cabhail Mhor. It should be taken by night and no-one could take it but three Curtis’s but one of them would be killed, so they did not venture. It is said that a dog and a bull are minding it.

(75 years) - It is said that a half dozen gold candlesticks and a gold Chalice are hidden in Michael O’Donohue’s hill in Boulthadine. Two parties came in search of them but did not find the exact spot where the treasures were hidden. It is thought that a badger is minding(continues on next page)
