  1. One evening during Winter a visitor called to my house to spend a few hours of the night. Indeed he was a very late visitor, and he had a long journey to go hime, but thinking himself a very brave man, he stayed till after midnight We were all having a quiet sleep exept my Mother and father when he started for home. He then bid good night and said "I suppose it will not be long until I will call again." He was a good singer and he said to himself "Bedad" I'll sing a verse of a song and never will find the wall home. So he started and when he came to the very next house to ours, there was the finest music ever he heard and a large crowd dancing, and a crowd outside. It is a very small little house, and he was more than surprised to see such a crowd in that house, and as he was moving on further he met a large crowd coming towards him, and farther on he met the very same crowd again.
