rib of hair from his grandmother's head and up he went. He threw down the corn and the ladder was thrown also. The he pulled the long rib of hair out of his moustache but it would only go half way. So he had to jump the rest. When he jumped down he sank and nothing could be seen but his head. He took it off and sent to his grandmother and mother to tell them to come out and pull him up.
When his head had gone for some distance he saw a fox coming to it. When it came back to him he put it on and he whistled. His mother and grandmother came out and they pulled him up. It was the rule that anybody who would speak until the story would be finished would be burned instead of the old man. One man told him to shut up and that man was burned.
