  1. A long time ago when the people used go to America, a big dance would be given at their house or at a cross roads the evening before the person went off. The next day all the people of the district would gather at the Inny bridge and a band would play. After saying good-bye to everyone the person going off would have to be pulled away from his father and mother and put on the side car and held there. Then all the people companions and relatives and everybody would start to cry and moan.
