    What makes more noise at a gate than one pig?
    Two pigs.
    Black I am and much admired,
    Men and horses I have tired,
    Gold and silver I have cost, and
    On the manure hill now I am tossed?
    Coal.
    What is the best batter in the world?
    A good hefty goat.
    What wig can no hairdresser make?
    An Earwig.
    As I went out, as I went in, death I saw and life there in,
    Six condemned, one got free,
    Riddle me that or hanged I'll be?
    A bird's nest in a dead horse's head.
    As I looked over yonger hill, I saw a wonderful thing. I saw the dead carrying the live. Was not that a wonderful thing?
