"Gallant men of Ennis ,for the noble work prepare ,
Gallant Fife and brass bands from every part of Clare.
Play the Wearing of the Green, and play Auld Lang Syne.
For they're going to build a monument to Micky Considine.

Ennis men remember the deeds of this true man,
He built a noble monument to the memory of poor Dan.
he built the maid of Eireann,to Alan, Larkin and O' Brien ,
Let the banner wave oer an honoured Grave ,
