Local Happenings - Burnings.Early in January 1930 Fenloe house formerly the residence of Major and Mrs Hickeyman was completely destroyed by fire.The origin of the fire is unknown.The shell is all that is left of the mansion.All furniture and effects were destroyed but no lives were lost.
- About February 1909 a virulent form of measles broke out in this district. Whole families went down together and some adults were seriously ill. In some cases bronchitis(continues on next page)
