    Sore Eyes.(1)To visit Loch Tighearna ,Quin ,or St.Lelia's Holy Well ,Kilmurry, Sixmilebridge and bathe eyes in water or do "rounds"-usually to say a rosary while walking around the well-one decade to each round .
    (2)To visit blessed well in Fenloe,Newmarket -on Fergus-28th April is the special day for pilgrimage. The first person to visit on that day will certainly be cured. The patron saint is St Luctharian.
    (3)Get a gold ring and thorn of gooseberry bush -we do not know how they are used.
    (4)To bathe the eyes in cold tea .
    (5)Visit St.Brigid's well in Rathmore and bathe the eyes.
    Chin-cough :-
    (1) Visit any well on each of the nine consecutive mornings before breakfast and drink some water .
    (2) Use the food left over after a ferret.
