   when it is bad.If the moon and stars grow dim a ring encircles the moon rain will follow.if it grows pale or dim we rain ,if red wind.If the sky is clear we expect fair weather.The hills and mountains look near if it is bad and there is fraud in the water.The insects fly high if it is going to be good and the smoke goes up straight out of the chimney.

   When the sky is dark blue it is going to rain.if you think the sky is on the mountains and that the hills that are far away are near to you it is a sign of heavy rain.On a wet if it rains heavily for two hours it will be a fine day the next day.it was said in olden times that if insects are on the window it is a sign of good weather for a few weeks.if the smoke from a chimney on a calm day is going northwards it is the sign of good weather.To see blue in the fire on a wet day the next will be fine.
