  1. Mr John Butler Ballyglasheen Bansha has a Fort in his land. About 50 years ago he decided to plough up the field bounds on the fort. Nothing remarkable happened for about a cuple of days. Until he went about 4 yds of the Fort fence where he ploughed the sod near the fort it turned back again of its own accord so fast that it cought a little bird. He got a bit of a fright and went home and was not able to get up for four months.
