  1. About 23 years ago they were a big wind storm and they were many damage's downe. They were trees knocked on the middle of the road and hay shed's were blown down and many animals were killed with the cold and roof's taken of houses.

  2. Long ago many lives were lost by snowstorms. One day to men were going to Borrisoleigh and it was snowing and snowing and it began to get hard. They were coming home when it began to drift it was so hard that one of them was smuddered and the other lad was alright. His name was John Quinn. Pallas. Borrisoleigh.
