    used to put another square piece of wood smaller than the first on top of it, they used to keep putting the square pieces of wood on top of one another until there was no space at all on top.Then they used to lift it up at the bottom and fix it so that when a bird used to fly into it the cradle bird used to snap and the bird used to be trapped inside of it.The boys still use catterpults for killing birds.
