    Cistí Óir i bhFolach.
Once upon a time there lived in the upper part of Clare an old man(whose name I do not know)who dreamed of money hidden in the summit of Murphy Hill. The hill is situated three miles north of Kilmihil and about a half a mile from where the man lived. There is a stone wall on the hill ,which was built by the Danes. The old man told two of his neighbours about the dream and they made it up to between them to and search for the treasure. They went together one wintry night and they took a bottle of holy water and a blessed candle with them. They also brought a spade .When they landed to where the treasure was they began digging. They came after a long time to a very large stone and just heard the sound of a pot or something that sounded like it.It was not long until they heard the roar of a bull
