    beautiful fire as clean and cheap.
    The also eat geese and the feathers they put into ticks to mak beds. From the wool of the sheep they wove their own blankets and thread for their socks and stockings. They utilised everything in order not to have to buy. Children did not wear boots until they were twenty. Old people said they were often seen felling furze, their feet were so strong, without a boot, it was so strange compared with our days.
