    black apron and there was one small pocket in it in which he carried a pipe.
    The scholar’s often stole the pipe and hid it.
    One day a girl named Molly Walsh stole the master’s dinner and when he went to look for it he had no dinner to get.
    The girl did not come back to school again because she was afraid of getting beaten.
    The scholars used to play tricks on the master very often.
    One day in the winter-time the master’s feet were wet and he took off his boots to dry them, before going home that evening.
    A boy named James Walsh hid the boots. There was a search made but neither trace nor tidings of the boots could be found anywhere.
