    In the townland of Trummon, about two miles from Ballintra we have the traces of another ancient monastery called [Teampal Mac Maolacaín ?]. A graveyard surrounded it and a local farmer named Dorrian was the last person interred there: about a hundred years ago.
    Half a century ago the owner of the property ploughed up the graveyard and there is nothing now to denote the existence of [Teampall Mac Maolacaín ?] save a few “deceased” stones in a garden hard by.
