  1. One day men were putting in a haystack at Mulreanys.
The old woman of the house came out and asked the men what day of the week was it.
One of the men said that it was Saturday.
Sometime afterwards she came out again and asked them what day was it.
They said to morrow is the Lords day and Johnny Mc Glinchey said “If to morrow is the Lord’s day, this is the devil’s day, because we got no dinner yet”
The men were very hungry and thirsty and it was now very late in the day.
