- A long time ago when my Grandfather and Neil Gallagher were children they went out to play. When they saw no one about they lighted a fire on the rooks near Micks Gildea’s [barricks ?]. It wasn’t long until they heard great scolding under the rocks around which they were playing.They got frightened and ran home and told mother. She ran out as fast as she could and took away the fire because she knew it was the fairies who were making the noise.(continues on next page)
