    In an unfrequented place, surrounded by hills in the townland of Ballymagroarty stands an old semi-circular wall which marks the spot where the holy sacrifice of the Mass was once offered.
    This ivy-mantled stone structure is said to be erected to answer the purpose of a church in the Penal days.
