  1. Convulsions.
    If a child takes the convulsions, get a person who never saw anyone in them to pull three blades of grass and put them over the child. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
    Stye in eye
    To cure a stye in the eye go to a gooseberry bush and get a thorn off it.
    Rub this thorn on the stye nine days after one another.
