  1. In Ardevin, Barnesmore, is a small peninsula on the shore of Lough Eske about 200 yards west of Fort. It is a disused Grave-yard said to be consecrated and possibly used as the burial place when Franciscans ministered in the Friary – the townland on the opposite shore of Lough Eske after their expulsion from Donegal Abbey.
    The owner of adjoining land told me bodies unearthed there were wrapped in flannel. Possibly Franciscan Grey?
