  1. Old Cures.
    Chin-cough
    A cure for the Chin-cough is to go out and in under a donkey three times.
    The donkey must be eating oat-meal and whatever he drops on the ground you must pick up and make an oaten cake of it and eat in.
    Nearls.
    Nettle-Tea
    Pick some fresh young nettles. Wash them three times in spring-water.
    Put them into a pot. Cover them with cold water. Let them boil for half-an-hour.
    Then strain them and make tea of the juice by adding cream and sugar.
    Give a cup of this nettle teach when the nearls being to come out.
    This cure brings the nearls out on you. Then they go away the quicker.
