   Once a woman was living alone. One day she had a man working. When he came in the morning she gave him his breakfast and boiled him eggs. She left salt on the table for him but when he sat down it was gone so he told the woman and she said that it was the fairies that took it. Then she gave him more salt and when he had his breakfast over the other salt was back on the table. Then the woman put her [sprigging ?] in a basket to go to
