The following are some of the cures for the whooping cough.
1. If any person of the house where the whooping cough is meets a man riding on a white horse accidentally and asks him to give a cure for the whooping cough whatever cure he gives should be used.
2. Is to get a plait of the girls hair that stood in baptism for the person who has the whooping cough and tie it round the person's neck.
3. Is to get either the girl or the man that stood for the child in baptism to put a hole in a penny and tie it round the persons neck that has the whooping cough.
