tongue to the thorn and it comes out immediately.

One of his neighbours a Reilly girl had a thorn in her eye and the Doctors failed to get it out. Anthony Kearney by licking the eye with his tongue took it out immediately.

When Anthony was a young lad of about eighteen years he used to be trapping rabbits in Breastagh. One day he caught a fox, brought him home alive and licked his tongue, on the advice of a portsman who happened to be in his house when he returned.

Anthony is still alive and performs the cure to this day.
