- Story - Anne Loughney Met the Death before her Time.Once upon a time there lived two old women in Lacken. One of them lived in Kilcummin and the other in Cashel.
She was known as Granny Ga [?] on account of her great age. She was over a hundred years old. And the one in Kilcummin was called Annie Loughney.
Both were doting and the boys used to play tricks on them. One night a prime joke went under Annie Loughney's bed end starting making terrible noise. She woke up.
"Who's there?" said she.
"The Death" said the voice.
"What do you want?" said she.
