  1. Story - Anne Loughney Met the Death before her Time.
    Once upon a time there lived two old women in Lacken. One of them lived in Kilcummin and the other in Cashel.
    She was known as Granny Ga [?] on account of her great age. She was over a hundred years old. And the one in Kilcummin was called Annie Loughney.
    Both were doting and the boys used to play tricks on them. One night a prime joke went under Annie Loughney's bed end starting making terrible noise. She woke up.
    "Who's there?" said she.
    "The Death" said the voice.
    "What do you want?" said she.
    "I am coming for you", said he.
